RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS

Modest suburban going green alteration and addition for Mr and Mrs Bezuidenhout, Pinelands, Cape Town.

The existing house was built in clay fired brick. The works consisted of joining up between 2 parts of the house, opening up the interior, new bathrooms and a new upstairs study. We recycled the bricks taken from the demolitions to supplement our supply of new bricks, which were mostly used for the upstairs addition.

Additional green aspects include passive solar design, succulent planted roof, natural plasters, LED lighting, non toxic finishes and grey water recycling
